The Problem

Carbon credits are only as good as the science behind them.

Today, that science is broken.

Periodic, not continuous
Current MRV relies on annual or multi-year field surveys. Carbon is lost between measurements with no early warning.
Spatially sparse
Sample plots covering 0.1% of a site are extrapolated to represent thousands of hectares — with no validation.
No permanence evidence
Existing methodologies cannot prove that carbon stored today will stay stored. This is the credibility crisis in voluntary carbon markets.
Our Solution

A living MRV system — from centimetres to kilometres.

Terrra replaces periodic surveys with a continuous, multi-scale measurement architecture. We instrument the field, scale with AI, and validate permanence with stratigraphic science — then close the loop with land management interventions that improve sequestration.

The SequestOmeter is Terrra's custom field sensor: Sunrise CO₂ via Modbus RTU, BME280 environmental sensing, edge computing, and MQTT telemetry — all deployed in the field and feeding a unified data platform.
